Two different approaches to time tracking
Timely bets on passive capture: its Memory Tracker automatically records your computer activity (apps, documents, meetings), then AI helps you sort that time into projects. The goal is to forget nothing, with no manual entry.
Rytmely starts from the opposite principle: you explicitly decide what you track, tied to a clear Client → Project → Label hierarchy. Less automatic capture, but clean, intentional data that is ready to bill.
- Timely: great if you want zero data entry and an automatic reconstruction of your days.
- Rytmely: great if you want explicit structure and clean billing data.
- These are not the same needs — and that's perfectly fine.
